When following a survey link, you’ll arrive at the login screen.
You’ll need to login if you already have an account or follow the ‘sign up’ link. Please note that sign up requires 2 Factor Authentication (2FA).
Choose Account Type
When you sign up choose a participant account.
Details
When you’re signing up for the first time, you’ll be asked to complete demographic detail followed by 2FA.
Demographic details are requested and held anonymously within the TEXL platform to allow for benchmarking comparisons across the platform.
Your survey creator may request anonymous raw demographic data. You can choose each time you complete a survey whether to consent for TEXL to releasing your raw demographic data anonymously to the survey creator.
Survey
You’ll then be taken either to your dashboard where you can access any surveys you’ve been asked to complete.
Or you’ll be taken directly to the survey page.
You don’t need to complete the survey in one sitting, you can return to it at any time. Click on the final ‘next’ button to complete survey.
Once completed you cannot return to retake or edit answers.
Results
Once you’ve completed, you’ll be taken to your survey results.
Share
If your survey allows 360 feedback, you can invite feedback from others by sharing the link found on your results page.
Or from your survey card in the dashboard.
The survey will be completely anonymous for your 'others' to complete. It will refer to your name specifically, asking them questions about you, but their answers will be returned anonymously.
The answers will only be reported back to you in aggregate once you have 3 or more people from a category of ‘other’ (you will only see results for a category when you receive feedback from 3 or more people for that category).
Others
What our ‘others’ will see when you send them a survey.
When you share your survey, your ‘others’ won’t need to register on TEXL but will be asked to consent to their feedback being used anonymously as part of the TEXL research programme (and your survey creator research programme if they have requested ethical consent/IRB).
Note: Survey creators have the option to change the wording on the introduction text so this may appear differently.
