How entrepreneurial are you in the way you interact with and lead others?

Entrepreneurial leadership is a unique leadership style that can be found in any organization, regardless of its size, type, or age. Leadership typically involves guiding a group towards achieving their goals, which is different from management that focuses on planning and coordination.

This concept of entrepreneurial leadership is about inspiring and directing team members to achieve goals by identifying and seizing new business opportunities. Unlike traditional leadership, which may emphasize personal traits or characteristics, entrepreneurial leadership is action-oriented, highlighting the significance of what leaders do rather than who they are. This approach recognizes the crucial role individuals play in driving the entrepreneurial process, aligning with current research that stresses practical actions over inherent traits.

Specifically, Renko and co-authors define entrepreneurial leadership as influencing and directing the performance of group members toward the achievement of organizational goals that involve recognizing and exploiting entrepreneurial opportunities.  (p.55)
