How does TEXL deal with missing data when participants don't answer all items?
For visualisation of results within the platform the mean is derived based on the number of responses a participant has given rather than the original number of items within a scale. For example, if a scale has 8 questions, but only 7 are answered, the platform would add response values and divide by 7, rather than 8.
The Excel extract has the raw data for Survey Creator's own analysis.
